How to Read a Riot

So recently, Marcus Arvan invited me to pitch my forthcoming paper “How to Read a Riot” to a public-facing audience of about 2,000 subscribers.

He said my submission “could be anything” but didn’t mention podcasts, so that’s what I did.

Is this all just *random*? Or can we learn to contextualize political violence with a bit more sophistication and compassion?

Kjell and I had a great chat about evil, revolutions, and rioting, and I would love to get feedback from all five of you before sending this out more widely.
